Open Up

Carol and Bern wanted an open-plan spacious kitchen for themselves and their son Finn. After falling in love with the Neptune brand, the couple from County Meath visited Global Village who made their dream kitchen a reality.

Our previous kitchen was small but functional with bespoke units made from Burr maple,’ recalls Bern. ‘All the units were selected to make the most of the available space and our food storage was mainly in the larder in the dining room because of the limited space in the kitchen. As this was a new build, we were able to choose how large a space we had for the kitchen and we made the most of the opportunity to build an open-plan area with a larger space for the kitchen, dining and living room. Our builders Karl and Gerry Clarke also offered valuable advice on the layout from their significant experience.’
