Eniko and Michael’s country retreat in Co. Down offers the perfect space to live with their daughter Lyla and canine companions Alfie, Penny and Hugo.

Designed for Living

Eniko and her husband Michael moved into their home seven years ago and it was love at first sight. As Eniko reveals, ‘As soon as we walked over the small bridge leading up to the house I knew it was the one!’

Built by the Andrews family, famous for designing the Titanic, the house enjoys a semi-rural location on the outskirts of a small town. So although secluded and boasting all the benefits of country living, it is also within walking distance of the town centre. ‘We had previously lived in a new build and dreamed about a house with more character and this one ticked all the right boxes.’

Downstairs, there are two reception rooms, a utility room and they extended the existing footprint of the house and added a new bathroom beside the kitchen, which they also renovated and opened up to change the layout.
