Situated in Castleblayney, this stunning new build afforded owners Gareth and Zarragh an opportunity to create their ideal kitchen. To ensure the highest quality, they enlisted the creative skill of Shane Connolly Designs.

'We'd heard a lot of good reports about Shane Connolly Designs,' says owner Gareth. 'Shane's reputation for reliability and craftsmanship is well known so we had no hesitation in using him for our kitchen.'

From the outset, the homeowners and Shane Connolly made a good team.

'In a new build its very important for the designer and client to be able to work closely together, sharing ideas and solving problems,' Shane says. 'In this project, the clients had a general idea of what they were looking to achieve - 'a modern design with a classic twist' and with the help of CAD drawings, samples, and snippets, we were able to make their vision a reality. We managed to incorporate the theme throughout the kitchen and utility room.'

'We knew we wanted a modern style,' the homeowner agrees. 'But we weren't sure about all the details and relied on Shane for creative ideas, especially on how to hide a staircase!'
