Architect Deepa Bhargav, Principal Architect, Studio Architecture & Design has moulded the striking dreams of a family into a well-appointed pad sited at Aralia’s, a high end DLF property located amidst the DLF Golf Course, Gurgaon.

This 5800 sq ft apartment is owned by a young couple – Nima and Asheet Taneja. Nima calls it ‘resplendent’. They have an adorable daughter Kyra, 6 and a cute, mischievous son, Pranav, 3. Their design brief demanded luxuriant and modish interiors. Hence, the theme followed is classical, throwing in an eclectic mix in the couple’s personal spaces.

The apartment has a master bedroom, children’s rooms, a guest room, a kitchen, and a living room which further comprises a main seating area, dining area and a cigar lounge.

Deepa, while discussing the entrance lobby, said, ‘At the corner, a Botticino stone wall with a Tree Of Life and gold leafing design is under the spotlight. I have defined the luxury of the house where the flooring pattern, the lotus fountain at the far end with the backdrop of the black chandelier of the dining room and the family picture wall in dull gold frames add to the richness of the decor and complement one another.’
