Architects Malini and Manish Doshi who head Sārānsh Architects, Ahmedabad, present their 25-year-old son Malay’s independently revamped and redesigned Sārānsh Studio.

The practice started in 1994 with just Manish and Malini – the premises were used from 1995, when the practice had grown somewhat to encompass more people.

Having eventually expanded to a team of 13, the space had become untenable. Malay conceptualised a stylised, contemporary workspace that undid all previous modifications. This now represents the new direction that Sārānsh is taking.
