Design Pioneer. Curator Of 100% Design South Africa. Creative Catalyst.
In South Africa’s design industry right now there is a theme emerging that relates to movement in design. Gregor Jenkin, the Feature Designer of the Year at 100% Design South Africa, is producing furniture that moves, and David Bellamy and Greg Stock are creating textiles with a kinetic drawing machine. The exhibition also features a large walk-through lighting installation that appears to move called ‘The Light Tank’ by Goddy Roodt and collaborators.
