CUSTOM CRAFTSMANSHIP
Décor Kitchens & Interiors
|December/ January 2019
Karen and Liam have transformed a 1950s doer-upper into a luxurious home for their family of five, with custom crafted kitchen and bespoke joinery throughout

Purchased as a renovation and extension project, this 1950s semi has undergone a dramatic transformation in a relatively short space of time. ‘We bought the house as a three-bed doer-upper in 2018 and started the planning process immediately, followed by a ten month build and we moved in by September of this year – nothing was left untouched!’ says Karen.
One of the first and most important rooms the couple turned their attention to was the kitchen. ‘I visited a number of showrooms to firm up on my ideas and also browsed Pinterest endlessly! However, having used Jonathan Williams Kitchens for our last kitchen in our previous home, we were always going to go back to them. Designer Will Healy of Jonathan Williams had designed our last kitchen a few years back and Will and the team did a top class job and were fantastic to deal with, so we were happy to go with them again.’
