Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills is turning into a paradise of exquisitely designed homes. ZZ Architects, have added yet another gem to this coveted address with a contemporary villa that shows how simplicity and a keen eye for detail are all it takes to create an exceptional home.

Serene Opulence

ZZ Architects have been hard at work designing impressive homes at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad for a while, so it's unsurprising that their talent caught the eye of homeowners who had newly purchased property at this prime residential location. “The client was well-versed with our work and was insistent on using our firm to design their new home,” mention Zubin Zainuddin and Krupa Zubin, principals at Mumbaibased ZZ Architects. It was a seamless process from there on, the duo gauged the potential of the site — a clean rectangular plot with a short frontage compared to the depth — and impressed the client with their very first proposal. In 30 months, the architecture and interiors of the project began to take shape in an impressive manner.

One of the earliest design objectives was to bring order to the large site. “The neighbouring bungalow abutting the rear wall is almost 40-feet above our plot and therefore provides a large dead wall which needed to be considered while conceptualizing the architecture of the home,” the architects observed. It proved to be advantageous as the resultant height allowed the volume of the house to presumably float over the plot. By going vertical, the design captures fantastic views of the city overlooking the lush greenery that Jubilee Hills is known for.
