On A High

Better Interiors (BI): What are some of Kaff’s key achievements over the past three years? How has the company grown with respect to categories of products and market share?

Deepak Anand (DA): We have grown 20 percent during each of the last three years and are looking at expanding further by launching new verticals. This period has been very productive although the economy has been slow and we have been experiencing a rise in demand because of changes in our customers’ lifestyles.

BI: In a year, how many designs and new products do you introduce in the market?

DA: Kitchen appliances have been our strength since the beginning and we always strive to keep upgrading our technology and designs. We have a huge hardware range in the kitchen segment, offering hinges and different types of soft-close systems. For us, innovation lies in upgrading our product range that includes chimneys, hobs and ovens. That is probably the one aspect that gives us an edge over competitors in the market. This year, we are looking at entering a new segment with the launch of air purifiers, which will be designed to offer 360° intake of air and will be priced from ₹ 30,000 onward.

BI: What are the technological advancements the company has introduced in the market in the last three years?
