Outlin'd creates gorgeous utilitarian home decor products from cork with designs that narrate beautiful tales of India's architectural heritage.
The rich history and culture of India has served as inspiration for design professionals since time immemorial. While, like many others, New-Delhi based experimental object designer Jhunjhun Jain has also been influenced by India's architectural heritage, it's her interpretation of these forms that makes her brand Outlin’d stand out. Launched in September this year at London Design Festival 2017, Outlin’d includes a comprehensive collection of home decor and utilitarian products that range from coasters and placemats to bookshelves and laptop sleeves. Each piece features an intricate engraving inspired by ancient Indian architecture; a design that relinquishes India’s traditional associations with bold and bright colours in favour of a more minimalistic monotone.
