Architecture Ideas, the competition organised by the Festival of Architecture and Interior Designing (FOAID) is exclusively created for the gen-next in the design field. We walk you through the five projects that won in the interior design category in the FOAID 2019 edition.
The Architecture Ideas competition organised by FOAID in 2019 had a single most aim — it was conceptualised to recognise, reward and encourage design professionals under 35 years. The competition required participants to register and submit designs under a variety of categories in architecture and interior design which included residential, commercial, hospitality, institution and retail. The competition impressively received over 270 entries pan India in 2019.
FOAID ropes in a large number of influential architects and interior designers to be a part of the multiple elite jury panels across the nine categories at various stages before selecting the final winner. The New Delhi jury comprised of architects Rajeev Agarwal, Nilanjan Bowal, Sonali Bhagwati, Sumit Arora and Dipen Gada, to name a few. The Mumbai edition saw some eminent architects and interior designers gracing the jury panel — Pinkish Shah, Sanjay Patil, Minnie Bhatt, Milind Pai, Sunil Patil, Chandrashekhar Kanetkar and Ninad Randive, to name a few.
