A cable and lace pattern produces a richly textured fabric on these socks

WIDE HORSESHOE cables bordered by columns of eyelets extend all the way from the cast-on edge to the toe of this top-down sock design from Jane Burns. The cable and lace panels also extend down the back leg, to the top of the slipped stitch heel flap. Jane's socks are knitted in Highland Superwash Sock Twist yarn from Cloudborn Fibers, which also comes in a choice of sophisticated blues and neutral shades.
