IN our previous edition, we had discussed that the perpetual lockdown had thrown many challenges at us, and managing the hair locks on our own was the hardest. But today, as life is returning to the new normal, salons have significantly raised the bar for grooming and skincare to meet the needs of the modern man. From regular styling for beards to manicures to facials and hair consultations, men’s salons are offering a wide range of treatments and therapies to rival those of their feminine counterparts. In view of the above, we have brought you certain tips from the entire grooming circus, considering that very little is known about the men’s side of the grooming universe.

MANICURE

No, it has nothing to do with women. No, it is not “pansy” like stuff. Also don’t forget to take care of your hands and nails. Dirty and dry hands will never add anything to your image but well-groomed hands and nails can certainly add to your overall appearance: Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! After each and every wash, moisturize your hands. Carry moisturizer with you. Smooth the nail with a file to even out the edges. Use a metal nail file to shape to a slightly rounded shape and squared off at the edges. Stop using your nails as tools. Nails are soft and they can be easily damaged when used to open a hard lid or to scratch paper. Push the cuticles down.If anything, it will save you the trouble of intestinal infections. So don’t let the stereotypes tell you otherwise.
