The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is a United States-based non-profit organisation which educates the public about Type 1 and 2 Diabetes, gestational Diabetes and prediabetes. It provides support to people with Diabetes by funding research to manage, cure and prevent Diabetes.

Every year, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) releases clinical updates called Standards of Medical Care based on the latest research studies to guide physicians to better manage Diabetes and its complications. ADA has recently released an update to 2019 guidelines called Living Standards of Care to highlight the latest findings in the management of heart disease and kidney disease in Diabetes.
