K-Pro Elite Presents Rakerpan
Treasure Hunting magazine
|January 2019
History in the Raking Back in 1997 I formed the K-Pro company, after designing and producing a range of bait waiters and trays for fishermen. K-Pro Elite Tackle swept the board, winning many awards for design and quality and was acclaimed throughout the fishing media as the finest of its kind.
Today K-Pro Elite is the home of Rakerpan. A treasure hunting gadget that can be enjoyed by all the family, young and old, for a fraction of the price of similar products. Explore the mud, sand and fine gravel beds of rivers and streams for coins, jewellery and various artefacts from the past.
Living close to flowing water has been a necessity of life since the Stone Age. Throughout history, many villages, army camps and battle quarters have been set up near rivers, initially for food, drink, hygiene and even as a form of defence. Most important of all, such resources were harnessed as a power source during the Industrial Revolution, with many mills still remaining today.
No wonder the beds of these rivers and streams present so many possibilities for making that special find or even ‘striking it rich’! There are even a number of rivers in Britain that contain gold deposits! So what are you waiting for?

What is Rakerpan?

Lost and Found?
There have been several instances over my long detecting career where, not only has it has been a delight to be able to help people who have lost things, but also a great thrill when such losses are returned to their owners. I have several memories of such occurrences.
