As we all nestle in our abodes safely during the nationwide lockdown, certain Corona Warriors are working on the frontline to help us emerge victorious in this ongoing battle against the novel Coronavirus. One such frontline doctor is Dr. Zafar Ahmed Senior Consultant, Critical Care, Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine at Fortis Hospital, Mohali who is putting his best foot forward to ensure that the agony of the patients soon comes to a halt.

How has your typical day routine changed since the virus outbreak?

We are now working on a different routine with five days of COVID area exposure followed by five days off and then five days of Non-COVID area. We now avoid mixing with colleagues and visiting the unexposed area. At home, I remain isolated from my family with minimal interaction.
