Party season can really play havoc with our looks, with late nights, lack of sleep and over indulgence on food. As it is, air pollution is a problem in urban areas.

Our lifestyle can compound the problem further. During parties, we tend to gorge on rich, sugary and spicy foods, not to mention alcoholic drinks. Many of us lead sedentary and stressful lives too, without any exercise. What do we do about those tired and puffy eyes, dehydrated skin from too much make-up, or bad hair days? These signs tell us that it’s high time we decide to detoxify our bodies and get rid of toxins and wastes. Actually, the best thing is to go nature’s way and detox the system, to look and feel good.
Give up coffee and drink green tea daily. It has great benefits. For example, regularly drinking green tea is said to help in losing weight. It increases fat oxidation and eliminates excess levels of water from the body. Also, make sure to drink more water. Have the juice of a lemon with a glass of warm water first thing in the morning. This helps in flushing out toxins from the system.
