In a trailblazing career spanning across about three decades, Dr Harprit is the first surgeon of India to successfully carry out a Patello-Femoral Joint Replacement Surgery for isolated PatelloFemoral Joint Arthritis. He has successfully done more than 450 Oxford Knee Replacements in the Orthonova Hospital, Jalandhar. Dr. Harprit’s megalo presence is felt as he has performed somewhere near fifty thousand operations with many surgeries that were introduced by him to India. Being chiefly a Joint Replacement Surgeon, he introduced the concept of Quick Knee Replacement, where the knee surgery is done in 7-10 minutes and the patient starts walking within a day and is discharged from the hospital within three days. The patients also doesn’t require physiotherapy. He is one of the surgeons who introduced Oxford Knee Replacement and was the master behind the PFJ replacement.
