In conversation with Urban Melange, she shares about her journey, her inspiration and more.

Did you always wanted to be an architect? Why did you choose this field for yourself?

From a young age, I loved creating things, it gave me a tremendous sense of satisfaction. I was a state-level skating champion, and was a bright student, so was expected to take up medicine. I even did the entrance exam, but realized I didn’t want to join. As an independent-thinking teenager, I was exploring various avenues, and was naturally drawn to Architecture. The monuments and palaces I saw during holiday trips mesmerized me, I was in awe of the impact they had on human mind. With my intuitive sense of aesthetics and proportions I knew that the world of design is where I wanted to be in.
