MONTBLANC HERITAGE PERPETUAL CALENDAR LIMITED EDITION 100

The new Montblanc Heritage revisits the significant Minerva archives and resurrects a number of the glorious vintage aesthetics found on watches from the 40s and 50s. They include deliberate proportions, sophisticated shapes, two-tone colour schemes and retro-styled hands. The 40mm case – with a choice of 18-carat red gold or stainless steel – reveals a polished bezel and short, tapered lugs, which give the watch a more compact appearance on the wrist. Formal without being too dressy, the vintage Montblanc Sfumato alligator leather strap neatly complements the domed sapphire glass over the silvery-white dial. Hours, minutes, day, date, month, moonphase and leap year may sound like a lot, but fret not – the large counters at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock drastically improve the overall readability. The brand-new manufacture movement, the calibre MB 29.22 with a 48-hour power reserve, is another highlight of this watch. Furthermore, the watch is equipped with practical dual-time function and a 24-hour indication, which are particularly useful for frequent flyers.
