With the 1990 film, Metropolitan by Whit Stillman in mind for this particular collection, Creative Director Stuart Vevers has taken scenes from the film that revolves around youthful, uptown New Yorkers and adapted it into looks that we can style and wear today. Amongst other things, Stuart brings forward the nostalgic essence of the Big Apple and combined it with a preppy and elegant approach in fashion that features tweed, shearling and graphic stripes. Presenting a subtle theme of indie meets heritage, it’s easy to spot archival styles and prints with its retro tailoring and of course, the modernised twist to the archival bags that we’re seeing a lot of today.
