LOST PROPERTY

While working as a waitress, I had to serve a nightmare couple. They got ridiculously drunk, sent dishes back without reason, and were generally very rude. After two hours of abuse, I went to fetch the bill, only to return to their table to discover they’d done a dine-and dash. But they didn’t realise they’d left their car keys behind. When they came back to collect them they tried to convince my manager that it had all just been an innocent mistake. At least they ended up paying their bill.
