He’s the handsome Aussie idol loved by millions – but Shannon Noll’s recent dramas are threatening to ruin his career and destroy his image as a down-to-earth family man.

The What About Me crooner was arrested last month at a Sydney hotel with a bag containing 0.53grams of cocaine. He appeared in court on October 11, where he pleaded guilty to possession.

Magistrate Glenn Walsh did not record a conviction but handed the 43-year-old father of-three a 12-month good behaviour bond, commenting that Shannon had fallen from his “high perch.”

Afterwards, the contrite star – who announced in July that his wife Rochelle was expecting their fourth child – said he hoped to put the incident behind him and was “just looking forward... to getting back to work”.

It’s the latest worrying episode for Shannon, who was runner-up in 2003’s Australian Idol and also came second on the 2018 season of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
