They’re known for being one of the most PDA-heavy couples on the red carpet, but at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 21, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were unusually conservative – no hand-holding, no kissing and no signature face-nuzzling. Even more strangely, the couple haven’t been seen in public together since.

Now, shock new claims about their almost 12-year marriage have revealed that away from prying eyes, Keith and Nicole, both 50, are on the brink of divorce after years of marital issues that just won’t go away.

Things got so bad recently, they’re thought to have made a secret trek to Vermont, US for an “emergency stay” at Marriage Quest counselling retreat in a desperate bid to salvage their union.
