Nicole Kidman’s life is in turmoil, amid reports the woman she’s always feared could steal her husband away is single once more.

Nashville-based country music star Carrie Underwood hasn’t been seen with her husband of seven years, Mike Fisher, since August 2016, and speculation is rife that she and the ice-hockey star – who share two-year-old son Isaiah – have parted ways.

Now, in what can only be described as Nicole’s worst nightmare, her husband Keith Urban appears to be getting closer than ever to long-time friend Carrie, 34, with whom he’s always shared incredible chemistry on and off stage.

Keith’s close bond with Carrie, was on show for all to see at the CMA Awards earlier this month, when the pair – who are arguably Nashville’s biggest stars – took to the stage together in what some audience members described as an electric performance.

Keith and Carrie did nothing to hide their affection, getting up close and personal as they belted out their new single The Fighter. 

The emotionally charged performance follows months of shows together, as Carrie supported Keith on tour in Australia and New Zealand late last year, during which time Nicole, 49, was often at home in Nashville with the couple’s daughters Sunday, eight, and six-year-old Faith.
