When war veteran Captain Tom Moore decided to walk 100 laps of his garden in aid of NHS Charities Together during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, he had no idea that his mission would turn him into a global superstar, earn him a knighthood and see him raise an incredible £40million for charity.
