Move over, Thor… Tom Hiddleston returns as fan-favourite Marvel villain Loki in his own six-part series

NEW SUPERHERO DRAMA
Loki
From Wednesday 9 June, six episodes (released weekly), Disney+

Fans were charmed by the slippery trickster, and Loki became one of the franchise’s most popular figures.
He even proved to have hidden depths, helping the heroes out more than once (even if his actions weren’t exactly selfless) before dying a hero’s death trying to stop Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
FRESH START
Fittingly for a character who has cheated death more than once, that still wasn’t the end of the story, and now Loki returns in a six-part series on Disney+ which explores the outcome of the scene in Avengers: Endgame where, in an alternative-reality version of 2012, Loki escapes with the powerful Tesseract…
