It’s the start of a new era on Countdown this Monday, as Anne Robinson takes over as host from Nick Hewer. With Rachel Riley in charge of the letters and numbers, and Susie Dent as lexicographer in chief, the show now has an all-female presenting line-up for the first time since its launch in 1982.
