Dragons’ Den’s youngest investor makes her debut…

Sara Davies was still studying at the University of York when Dragons’ Den began in 2005, and she watched the show with her fellow students. ‘People would say, “You’d make an awesome Dragon,” but I laughed it off,’ says Davies. ‘I did secretly aspire to be on the show, though.’

It was also at uni that Davies started her business, Crafter’s Companion. Fourteen years on, the firm sells a range of craft supplies, exports to more than 40 countries, employs 190 people and has an annual turnover of £34million.
