When it comes to bears, wildlife film-maker Gordon Buchanan just can’t get enough of them.

After making earlier wildlife series about a family of American black bears and a polar bear and her cubs, the 45-year-old returns to his favourite subject this week when he spends eight months in the Russian wilderness as a ‘surrogate mum’ to half a dozen grizzly bear cubs.
