Zac efron and Lily collins star in a chilling portrayal of serial killer Ted Bundy

Following Netflix’s recent docu-series Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, America’s most notorious serial killer is back on our screens this week – this time in a new movie, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.

Showing from Friday on Sky Premiere, the film recounts Bundy’s trials, prison escapes and unwavering protests of innocence – but these events are all seen from the perspective of his longtime girlfriend, Liz Kendall (Lily Collins).

LIES AND DECEPTION High School Musical star Zac Efron plays the disarmingly handsome and charismatic Bundy, who brutally murdered more than 30 women and girls in the 1970s before being executed by electric chair in Florida in 1989.

For Efron, taking on the role of such a menacing real-life character wasn’t an easy decision to make.
