Rajnikanth wasn’t present in India on the day of it’s release

There have been a lot of speculations about the ill health of superstar Rajinikanth, who recently returned to India after a long stay at US! There were rumours that the superstar is terminally ill and has gone to US for a surgery. These rumours skyrocketed during the audio launch of his latest film Kabali. Kabali’s album was launched in a very plain manner.

Rajinikanth makes a quiet return to India, as his Kabali creates mass hysteria all over!

Rajnikanth’s Kabali opened to great numbers on 22nd July. Alas! the man was not present in India to witness the hysteria! This once again sparked rumours of his surgery. Some media houses speculated that the 65-year-old actor has undergone a kidney-related surgery in the U.S. Rajnikanth had also underwent haemodialysis in 2011.

Earlier some notorious section of media had also carried false reports that suggested the demise of the God of South due to cardiac-arrest in the US and that Soundariya Rajnikanth confirmed the news. However, on June 16, Rajnikanth’s spokesperson issued a statement that rubbished all the rumours about the actor’s health.

In an interview to a Tamil channel, Kabali producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu said that Rajinikanth had called him recently to appreciate his move to release the teaser of Neruppu Da, as a treat to the fans in such dark times. Though Rajinikanth has returned to India, rumours of his surgery have not yet settled.

However, the fact that the thalaiva has returned to Chennai is a good enough reason for the fans to rejoice.
