Most often, single children have a stereotypical reputation in our society. They are often recognised as lonely, selfish, anxious and spoiled but, at the same time, their life is said to be all about unicorns and rainbows but, alas! It's not true. Of course, they never have to share toys, their room and privacy always remain uninvaded. However, the truth is that their personality and behavioural growth is based on them being a single child as much as the personality of those with siblings is based on them not being a single child. While we are at it, let's break down a few myths around single children.
