It’s no secret that one of the key factors that furthers your career is making the right contacts. Networking is not just about schmoozing the right people so that you can get some inside info about plum job openings; it’s on nurturing equations a lot of, which involve mutual trust and give and take.

THE SOCIAL MEDIA CONNECT
The web is an important platform to make contacts, and offers umpteen opportunities. Social media sites helps you stay in touch with several people simultaneously. Choose groups you want to be part of, and reach out to people through a direct message or email without appearing too forward. Make use of community forums and groups on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook to stay updated about industry news, trending conversations, and specific knowledge. The forums are mostly free, and one is encouraged to share queries and issues.
