CHRISTMAS is over; New Year a blurry recollection. You’ve been back at work after the Christmas party, said your apologies and tried to live down those photos. (You know the ones. Just make sure they aren’t shared on social media.)

The New Year brings with it resolutions. Basically they’re lies we tell ourselves each year in the hope we’ll be somehow better people. We’ve all done it.

If I had stuck to any of my resolutions I would have a sixpack by now; Any of you who have met me you’ll know it’s more a barrel than a six-pack.
