THE dark evenings are here with the chance to cosy up on the sofa, hopefully in front of a roaring log fire. Christmas often means board games or charades, or maybe you’ve played wink murder. Well this year how about dimming the lights and settling down to a good old fashioned ghost story? The Folio Society has just published a collection of tales written by the famous author MR James. Montagu Rhodes used his initials long before J K Rowling and wrote stories at the end of the 1800s and into the next century.
