CHILE “My wife Paula and I took a copy of Our Canada to the “end of the world“ on a cruise around Cape Horn in southern Chile, South America,“ shares Wayne Davis of Cambridge, Ont. “The weather we encountered at Cape Horn was typical of its reputation with rough seas, high winds, rain and sleet, making for a memorable experience. Cape Horn is constantly manned with a lighthouse and research outpost. On this cruise, the majority of the people we met were Canadians. Even the captain of the vessel was a Canadian, originally from Alberta!”
