Internet usage has increased dramatically among children, especially those residing in metro and large cities. Children as young as 6 years are now getting active on social media. But how secure are they from identity theft which is one of the world’s fastest growing crimes and other perils of social media? What are some of the simple steps that could make children less vulnerable? On this World Password Day which fell on May 4, Telenor (India) Communications released a study which had many revelations about the internet trends and vulnerabilities and how to secure oneself and one’s dear ones better in digital times.
