Star Children
|February 2017
You might have often noticed mynahs, sparrows and robins hunting in the grass beds in the garden for worms to eat.
Birds are omnivorous and while they can eat fruits, seeds and nuts with relish, they can also enjoy an earthworm or insect larvae with equal gusto. Insects and worms are high in protein, fat, vitamins and minerals which the birds need to grow strong muscles and feathers and to raise healthy chicks.
