Prince Andrew's daughters are dragged into a fraud suit after the Duke of York accepts over $1 million from a Turkish millionaire

Another day, another royal scandal for Prince Andrew. Only this time, Queen Elizabeth II's disgraced son just weeks after settling a civil sexual assault case for a reported $12 million has dragged his exwife, Sarah Ferguson, and their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, into the drama, too. On April 1, Britain's The Telegraph revealed the Duke of York's entire family have been named in a London High Court fraud suit filed by 77-year-old Turkish millionaire Nebahat Evyap Isbilen, who claims she was scammed after her financial adviser, Selman Turk, gave Andrew more than $1.3 million.

The high-profile case has rocked the palace and raised serious questions about Andrew, Fergie, Eugenie and Beatrice. While Andrew and Fergie, both 62, are no strangers to scandal, Beatrice, 33, and Eugenie, 32, have long avoided it. Until now. According to the lawsuit, a $980,000 deposit into Andrew's account in 2019 was described to bankers as a wedding gift for Beatrice, and an additional $38,000 deposited into Eugenie's private account the same year was a “birthday gift.” Beatrice and Eugenie "didn't expect to be caught in this mess," a source tells In Touch. “They try to avoid the drama that Andrew is notorious for, but this new lawsuit makes them look like they've committed fraud. It appears Andrew's family has been destroyed by greed.”

Andrew reportedly gave the $980,000 “wedding gift” back after Isbilen uncovered the plot and her lawyers approached Andrew, but it took him 16 months to do so.
