Heinrich researched the show and structured her training to give her the best shot at completing the intense challenges.

For someone who looks like they have it all, Anna Heinrich is surprisingly lacking in confidence. Since shooting to fame as the original Bachelor couple, the 35-year-old and her husband Tim Robards, 39, have gone from strength to strength and welcomed a daughter, Elle, into their lives. But holding back the star has been a lack of self-belief, something she felt a stint on SAS Australia could cure her of.

This was a very personal mission for you …

I don’t push myself beyond my limits and this is something that is very far beyond what I believe I’m capable of doing. I originally thought there was no way in hell that I would ever go on the show and then, thankfully, my husband [Robards] talked some sense into me.

In the show you talk about your negative mindset and lack of self-belief. Where does that come from?
