Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles sent the world into a spin when they were photographed holding hands at his manager’s wedding in January 2021 – but a year on, his Don’t Worry Darling director is head over heels and, in her words, the “happiest” she’s ever been.

“I think what you realise is that when you’re really happy, it doesn’t matter what strangers think about you,” 37-year-old Wilde tells Vogue, when quizzed about the fanfare over her shock relationship with Styles, who’s 10 years her junior. “All that matters to you is what’s real, and what you love, and who you love,” she explains, adding, “I’m happier than I’ve ever been. And I’m healthier than I’ve ever been, and it’s just wonderful to feel that.”

The couple unabashedly went public with their romance in the weeks following the announcement of her shock split from longtime love Jason Sudeikis, with whom she shares two children, son Otis, 7, and daughter Daisy, 5.
