Her father may have been the face of the singer’s conservatorship for the past 13 years, but Britney Spears has now accused her mother Lynne of being the real mastermind. The 39-year-old, who is just days away from potentially ending it for good, took to Instagram on November 2 to blast the once-close matriarch for orchestrating the “abusive” legal arrangement in the first place.

“My dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago … but what people don’t know is that my mum is the one who gave him the idea,” Britney claimed in a since-deleted post. “I will never get those years back.”

Continuing on her tirade, the singer admitted her mum had “secretly ruined my life”. “Take your whole ‘I have NO IDEA what’s going on’ attitude and go f--k yourself,” Britney blasted. “You know exactly what you did … my dad is not smart enough to ever think of a conservatorship … but tonight I will smile knowing I have a new life ahead of me !!!!”
