Just a little drop of poison. That was all Boniswa (Lusanda Mbane) thought it would take to get man-snatching, baby-boasting, intolerable wife number two Yvonne (Kgomotso Christopher) out of her hair and out of her life, hopefully for good. She plotted with her trusted housekeeper Dambisa (Khanyisa Bunu) to secretly make a cup of poisoned tea, take a little sip, feel a little sick and have all the blame fall on the obvious suspect – Yvonne. But, of course, that isn’t how it worked out on Thursday 14 December. When Boniswa had to rush off to check her car, Siseko (Hlomla Dandala) spotted her “stray” cup of tea and unwittingly swigged the lot, poison and all. And it’s left Boniswa with some hard truths to swallow and some harder truths to explain on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 December.POISONED SOUL
