She started with a bang! From a dhamakedaar debut opposite Salman Khan in Dabangg, Sonakshi Sinha has definitely made a niche for herself in Bollywood. And the verdict on her was crystal clear: This star kid sure can act! And, how!

Anyway, after basking for a long time in the Dabangg part one and 2 glory, Sona completed almost eight years in Tinselville. But unfortunately for her, her career graph currently is pinpointing precariously downwards after several of her films proved to be duds at the Box office.

2016-17 was clearly not a good year for her as most of her films, one after the other were knocked down like pins in a bowling arena at the Box office. In Akira, Noor and Ittefaq, her acting skills were raved about but the film themselves didn’t do well, bringing all the effusive compliments to nought. Welcome to New York was a disaster from the word ‘go’ and it added to poor Sona’s bag of woes.

…But there is a silver lining at the end of the dark clouds. Sonakshi Sinha still has Dabangg 3 in her kitty and more importantly, Salman Khan, the man with the Midas touch, in her corner.
