How was the movie Padman conceptualized?

I attribute it to my wife, Tina, who wrote the autobiography, The Legend of Laxmi Prasad, who got all reading on the life of this small town innovator who reached places. Then she and director R Balki created this incredible story about this innovative mastermind, a saviour for all those women who have been bearing pain for all these years. I have always been interested in good content and when a film has a good message, I generally like to take it up as I feel films are not for entertainment alone but social awakening too, as evident from my last super-duper hit
