Dressed in a grey floral shirt and orange palazzos paired with blue stilettoes, Zaira Wasim looked super elegant at her birthday party. After the astounding success of Secret Superstar, this newbie celebrated her 17th birthday and the success of her recent release, with the media along with the director of the film Advait Chandan with a lot of pomp and show. After watching her last two movies, I had a perception that she would be somebody bold, outspoken and mature, but to my surprise Zaira Wasim was quite down to earth, witty and very comfortable with her own self. Was acting something on your agenda always?
No! Acting never crossed my mind. If you talk about, how I started acting then I can tell you it started in school. I participated in a play, and my principal figured that this girl can act. And, fortunately the casting director Mukesh Chabra happened to be in Kashmir at that point of time, he was looking for a few Kashmiri actors for his film. He happened to visit our school and my principal gave him my name, and I went to his office. He called me to shoot an ad so I shot two ads and then I got
