It all started with Harshvardhan’s debut film Mirzya, which was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Anil Kapoor was spotted at the music launch of the film, singing praises about his son, the director, and the movie. He went on to say, on a rather emotional note then, “It’s a matter of great pride that my son will soon be making a debut.” However, the film crumbled at the box office.

When Anil Kapoor was asked about what kind of movies would he want Harshvardhan to pitch, he said, “I can’t decide films for anybody. Also, these are very personal things.”
