After a fab career down south and a successful stint in B-town with Sanam Teri Kasam, HARSHVARDHAN RANE is all set to make a mark in JP Dutta's next Paltan. Here, Harshvardhan talks about his life, films and a lot more.

How did Paltan happen? Can you tell us more about that?
JP sir changed my life with his call. When I reached Ladakh,it took me three days to acclimatize and I felt like there was a gear shift in my life. When my first film had released in the South, tab ye laga tha aur ab yeh abhi laga hai. I am not used to such amazing news suddenly coming in my life. It took me three days to come to terms with the fact that I was doing J P sir’s movie and that I am really one of the members of the Paltan. It’s like your biggest wish came true, getting something really big in a very small span of time! I was camping that weekend and there was no network. It so happened that when I went to buy eggs from nearby, I got a message which said that I had to report to JP sir’s office. I had to rush and make it to the office the next day. Baaki toh aisa experience hai ki uss mein aapki puri magazine bhar jayegi.
Can you share some anecdotes while filming the movie?
To be on the set on the very first day wearing the costume, set aisa tha ki pura Ladakh hi hamara set tha. The feeling that I experienced then was absolutely amazing. Matlab, JP sir, Ladakh, cameras, artillery etc, it was like an unreal world. I could relate to that and then not just seeing Arjun Rampal but shooting with him was totally amazing.
