You don’t come from a filmi background. How has your journey to Bollywood been?

I hail from a small town of Moga in Punjab. I have always heard that it is tough for an outsider to make a mark. The only thing I had to do was believe in myself and my dreams and work hard. I think it was my parent’s prayers which worked for me and made it easier. I’m sure that with their blessings, I’ll find a way always.

You started your career down South. How different has Bollywood been?
